Inspection Trips

We can help you organise a short inspection visit of 3 or 4 days during which you can visit the properties you are interested in and to get to know the area. Alternatively you can take a longer holiday in the area and we can set up appointments for you to look at properties during your vacation. You have to bear the cost of inspection trips but these are very reasonable particularly if you choose a low cost flight.

Flights. Low cost airlines like Easyjet, FlyBE and BMI Baby operate daily services to Malaga from many UK airports and there are also schedule services operated by BA and Iberia. New for 2005 are daily services to Granada airport from Stansted and Liverpool with Ryanair - www.ryanair.com and from Gatwick with Monarch - www.monarchairlines.co.uk.

Car Hire. Whether on a property inspection visit or on holiday it is advisable to have your own hire car which can be collected from and returned to Malaga or Granada airport. Although we will take you around the properties and point out local features and facilities, a car will give you more independence and enable you to explore more of the area on your own. We recommend Crown www.crowncarhire.com who have offices in Malaga, Granada and Almuñecar.

Accommodation. For short visits we can recommend the Hotel Salobreña [hotelsalobrena@arrakis.es], a good 3 star hotel on the cliffs about 3km from the town. Alternatively you can stay in small hotels or hostals in the town. We can help you book these. If you prefer self-catering accommodation and can stay for 1 week or longer, we can offer you houses and apartments in the town at very reasonable rates.
